Unlike most of my wool paintings, in which the inspiration comes from deep within, this sunset is a real view from Little Oxen Farm. Not in a hundred years could you find another alike. It’s purple glow caught my eye, so I decided to felt it. While not as eye catching as some of my others, it’s still beautiful.
Featuring a dimly lit green and brown field stretching up to a dark tree line against the bright yellow sunlight covered by a smokey purple cape of clouds.
Handmade 100% from a variety of wools
Roughly: h x l x w = 4 ¾“ x 4 ¾“ x 1/3”
